The meal portions were small, but the unique activities kept us engaged.

My double room with patio, decoration and terras or patio was clean.

Everything was simply excellent. Cosy base for cycling, felt like home. The staff were competent and attentive and were around whole time. Thoroughly enjoyed the room, it was lovely and beautiful. The service offered was great. Its location was stunning and magnificent in a camp.

Amazing family-friendly activities and serene environment

We stayed for two nights and were impressed by the variety of family-centric activities, such as archery and mini-olympics, that kept our kids entertained while we relaxed. The community room for children was a lifesaver, great to unwind knowing they were well-cared for. The serene forest setting provided a peaceful backdrop . One area for improvement would be the pricing of some meals.

The setting is just amazing! We loved chilling in the spa after a lekker hike around the area. The staff were super friendly. Brekkie was a highlight too, so good!

A large conference meant 80% of space was privately booked, severely limiting dining options. Again, breakfast got chaotic after 9 AM. The place feels more like a bustling adult summer camp rather than a serene hotel getaway, which caught me off guard. I also found the general noise levels in the public spaces, including the dining room, a bit high, which could be distracting when trying to unwind. And guests working on laptops in the lounge areas made it hard for those of us seeking a true escape from work. My experience felt compromised by some planning issues that could have been addressed upfront.

We enjoyed exploring the nearby GR655(R) path and even tried out some Robin Hood-inspired workshops. The spacious bar area was perfect for hanging out and playing games together. The outdoor activities amidst the forest were a highlight and kept us entertained throughout our stay.

One downside was the pricing of some meals.

Peaceful escape with beautiful views

The vibe here was super chill, with amazing views from our room. We loved taking our dog around the grounds, perfect for them to run about! Dinner was tasty, but breakfast could use a little more variety. One evening there was a bit of noise from events happening nearby, slightly annoying.
